People are free to live where they want. Forced busing is hated by everyone rich and poor black and white who had to suffer it. And... it didn’t improve school performance one iota anywhere. Stop dictating policy based on what makes you feel good.
Nah.
And no, people aren't free to live where they want.
You’re a moron, of course they can if they can afford it.

There are a few here who would try to warn of the disastrous implications of such policies but you all did nothing but call these people racist or bigots or something. Now your schools will get worse, your child’s education will get worse, their risk of being assaulted will go up, your taxes will go up, your property values will go down and there is nothing you all can do about. Likely though you will still vote for more lefties...
What reality of leftwing policies is being imposed upon me? Please be specific.
Also, I distinctly remember voting regularly in school board elections.
The earlier poster is into fringe conspiracies. I wouldn't pay them any attention.
The previous was my first post on the string, please hunt down your conspirators elsewhere. But thanks for proving my point.
Forced Busing, class ‘warfare’, race based demogoguery, forced demographic based zoning, all leftist policies and tactics. No??
We get it you want to maintain the defacto segregation; however, most reasonable people feel diversity is a strength.

How about this crazy idea, how about the few wealthy minorities not move to poor already dense minority areas and be the ones who send their kids to the rich white schools?
Your post is inscrutable.
I had to read PP's post multiple times, but I *think* PP is suggesting that rich Black/Latinx move to historically white communities. As to why many Black and Latinx families might not feel comfortable doing so, I refer them to a wealth of documentation around racist incidents at historically white schools in the area, including testimony from kids of color in front of the school board regarding racist harassment that they endure at so-called W schools.
Yes, it's well documented that the segregated schools mostly in the western part of the county are fairly hostile to minorities. There has been an unprecedented number of racist incidents at the W's this past year that's been well documented on this board.
"well documented on this board." is not something to be taken seriously.
The facts of that matter were clear cut and published by the county. There was little room for interpretation. Point being the segregated schools only appear good because they exclude low income students but when you compare comparable SES students they really don't look so great.
My point is also clear: if you want to say these documents are well documented, that is fine (people may ask you about the source). But saying "well documented on this board" is more or less meaningless.
