I'm sure current NRA members are fine with contributing to this. That's how they dumb they are.
The NRA today is so far off of where they came from. It seems like only crazed gun nutters and/or white supremacists are NRA members today. If you aren't one of these folks, then you know to leave the NRA.

“Documents indicate that the National Rifle Association planned to purchase a luxury mansion in the Dallas area last year for the use of chief executive Wayne LaPierre, according to two people familiar with the records.
The discussions about the roughly $6 million purchase, which was not completed, are now under scrutiny by New York investigators. The transaction was slated to be made through a corporate entity that received a wire of tens of thousands of dollars from the NRA in 2018, according to the people.”

Wow. I wonder if NRA members know that their dues pay for LaPierre to live large.

For lots of members of the gun culture, the NRA is seen as a milquetoast organization devoted to serving the interests of Elmer Fudd-types, rather than an advocacy group for modern gun owners, most of which don't hunt, and own guns specifically for defense. The running joke among them is that NRA stands for "Negotiate Rights Away", since that's essentially what the NRAs unending capitulation to gun control groups has aaccomplished. As a result, other groups like GOA, SAF, and JPFO have sprung up, and pulled away hundreds of thousands of members by taking a harder line against compromise with gun banners than does the NRA.
When this infighting is over, whoever is left on top will be working very hard to get those members who have walked away, back.
What gun rights have been negotiated away?
Thats a gun fetishist your replying to. That’s a person who helps get kids killed.
The NRA is a terrorist organizing that gets American kids killed. It’s hard for me to imagine what organization could be worse.
Do you think your attitude might be a significant factor in why most of the 80,000,000 American gun owners have no desire to have a dialog?
No dialogue is necessary. Your actions after Sandy Hook, Las Vegas, and countless other blood baths had told us enough.
