There are people and organizations who have been working in the criminal justice reform and wrongful convictions space for decades. Why can’t Kim just support them? She doesn’t need to go to law school and take the bar to lend her voice and time to this very worthy cause.
She's the perfect person for this type of cause. She doesn't require a salary of any kind. Instead of just donating money, she's actually helping.
Everyone knows that most monetary donations go very little towards the actual cause. I worked at a nonprofit for 3 years after college and learned the dark side of not-for-profits. The one I worked at had a CEO who earned over a million in salary plus bonuses each year. Money was thrown around for the stupidest things as well.
Instead of donating money, I now donate time to causes I believe in.
Yeah, no. She could do much, much, more if she would just bankroll the Innocence Project, CUT 50, the one she works with, or a myriad of other worthy organizations with her makeup and TV earnings.
But, being the twat that she is, this is most likely a publicity stunt, and she is riding the wave of a topic that is getting hotter thanks to the work of numerous regular people lawyers.
The CA bar will have very few questions about freeing innocent grannies from prison, and I hope she will fail spectacularly.

Why should she limit her growth in any way? Go Kim! I've never watched KUWTK, but I am really impressed by her.
Her direct quote:
"I've seen some comments from people who are saying it’s my privilege or my money that got me here, but that's not the case," she Instagrammed alongside a photo of her studying. "One person actually said I should 'stay in my lane.' I want people to understand that there is nothing that should limit your pursuit of your dreams, and the accomplishment of new goals. You can create your own lanes, just as I am. The state bar doesn’t care who you are."

That said, what the fart kind of world are we living in that the white house is a reality game show host that calls in a reality lifestyle star to reform clemency policy (steeped in some of our most historic and systemic issues as a nation)??????? This is getting comically close to Idiocracy. They need to legalize weed. So we can get through this crazy ride and whatever comes
