The lips don’t bother me at all. Don’t you just get used to it and move on?

I watched all seasons. It was like a train wreck I could not look away. Horrible people, all of them, and even though it was a comedy- and trying to be outrageous, it tried to normalize self absorption- as if this is how people kind of are.

Meanwhile, I'm no fragile flower. I like dark comedies. But I hated these people. And the plot line(s) were cheap.

They are horrible people and horrible moms. That is what makes it so interesting. It is a dark comedy. These are self absolbed women who gave birth. It actually would be great if the therapist actually went ahead with the abortion, because that would track with her anger and resentment with being a mom.

Uh, she did.

What a shameful judging shallow group of responses all based around someone’s appearance
The show is about women supporting one another and not beating themselves up when they are
Doing their best
She is incredibly talented gorgeous intelligent and probably has a life far more interesting than yours. Stop berating and belittling a female and instead support and defend her

This has to be Catharine Reitman. Or her friend.

If it is, Catherine I love love love love your show.

I recently started watching this series and really liked it.

Only thing I have a problem is that with the title, you kind of feel that the "Mom" part if somehow relevant. It is not. It is just how these women met each other at a lactation consultant's meet up.

There is very little interaction with the kids, and there is hardly any heavy-lifting as a "mom". It is more a statement on their relationship with their spouse, their work colleagues, the people in their lives etc. They are totally checked out as moms - and I think that what makes it so interesting.

Oy, welcome to DCUM. If you don't like judgmental people, this isn't the site for you.

The first season was great, but it went off the rails.

I actually can’t stand how she dresses - flowy, shapeless pants and big, chunky sneakers... not flattering at all.

Watching episodes now, realized Cathrine Reitmans lip is odd but, find it kind of cute in its own sense
