No chance that this is true. Many folks, including myself, have already copped to making the joke often on DCUM.

Let's test this theory:
GDS has no greater ability to get kids in Harvard than other schools in this area.
Thoughts?
Agree across Big 3. GDS parent.
Ah -but that begs the question - what is the big 3 and does it include GDS? See how this works?
That should be clear by now. GDS achieved Big Three ranking over 20 years ago. Enough already!
You guys are too easy. You really need to stop reacting to every little thing.

No, they really didn’t. Kinda sad and ironic that Sidwell’s gotten the boost from the Obamas’ attendance when it was a second choice for them.
Eric Holder, a former GDS trustee, strongly recommended that the Obamas send their daughters to GDS. Michelle loved her visit to GDS after the 2008 election.
Thanks Michelle, I didn't realize you posted on DCUM!
So the fact that the Obama kids went to Sidwell in the end is because the Secret Service is among the GDS haters?

Everything changed when the Pope and the Obamas sent their kids there.

Certainly on environmental stewardship, it's indisputable that GDS has committed to transportation limitations with the ANC that SFS is currently unwilling to similarly commit/propose. Both schools are great, but I can't think of how SFS walks the walk of Quaker values in any meaningful way that GDS does not to at least an equal or greater degree.
My point is not to criticize SFS, but simply to note that it's absurd to suggest that GDS is anti-Quaker.
You've totally missed the point of the anti-Quaker comment. And the rest of your post just reinforces the perception that GDS-related posts are so ridiculous that they must come from a single troll. Seriously, if that's the defense of these posts, then consider how dumb they appear to everyone else.
Sometimes pointing out the truth isn't going to be popular. I'm sure the behavior of the SFS teacher who yelled at Scott Pruitt might be unpopular with a lot of people, but in that case, I applaud her courage for dropping a needed truth bomb.
Ok - so when people point things out about GDS, should they be called anti-Semitic? That dissonance (that it's ok for GDS boosters to bash everyone, but anyone who criticizes GDS gets tarred) was the point of the anti-Quaker comment. As you say, 'sometimes pointing out the truth isn't going to be popular'. That's true, and it's also not anti-Semitic.
