I'm 46 and 62 is older than my desired range -- has not been an issue thus far. Primarily b/c I have school aged kids. Men of your age almost always have kids who are out on their own. They do not want to deal with my schedule or my kids (who are very much dependent on me). They want to relax and enjoy, having "been there and done that." I also do not want to date a man with grandchildren. Again, because our lives are in vastly different stages. I am sure there is some 62 year old that might make me reconsider, but at this point, mid-50s seems to be where my interest taps out.

I realistically understand that I am not desired by men of all ages. That's just silly.

To answer the original question, I think the range depends on your age at the time. I have 38-55 as my current range. My most recent BF was 41 (with kids of similar ages).

At 22 you’d have had to pay my way- I was broke!

I find my dating partners appreciate my comfortable net worth- and as we are in our 40’s having taken permanent birth control measures is usually considered an asset.

I guess that’s the appeal of barely adult women? The daddy complex plays out neatly as you can use your money to compensate for lack of youth and beauty. I have my own money so I get how you’d have no hook or lever to wedge yourself into my bed and that’s terrifying to you- so you demean my age. It’s difficult to do as you’re a generation older than me, but you are dogged!

The value is presumably fertility if you picked 22-

If you’re considering fertility an asset in your dating pool as a AARP member you are a minority.
