She has a 3.5, 27 ACT and her main activities are volunteering and sports (but nothing too notable). We were super worried about her getting into a school with her gpa, but she has been accepted into many well regarded large state schools and a few mid-sized privates. No ivy, UVA, etc. but good schools. I'm just sharing this for all those who worry as we did. On this board it seems like it's over 4.0 or your kid should go to vocational school.
Another "average student" here. DD has a 3.4 GPA and 1290 SAT. She has been accepted to 12 schools, deferred at 2 and 1 rejection. All solid schools, nice to have options.

They are rolling for a reason
What an idiotic remark.
Univ of Michigan, which is quite selective, is rolling.

Awaiting UMD and a few privates. All for engineering.
Leaning towards ASU right now.
Do you mind sharing how much merit you got from Case? I'm interested in merit amount, not need based financial aid.
