Oh, stop the misageny. The vast majority of female lawyers marry. Some to higher earning men, some to lower earning men, many to men who make similar salaries. The fact that some of you feel the need to dredge up anecdata to support a stereotype of lonely and picky female lawyers is so sad. Why is it that in 2018 you’re so threatened by the fact that some women earn more than some men?

No, sadly, she’s not. She’s only 34, so not crazy old, but getting a little late. She’s dated fabulously wealthy men though. Family money. Banking money. Startup money. She makes me a little jealous. My husband makes only 200K. But I love every stinking bit of him!

The poster who identified himself as “DH here” already made this point, but it’s interesting that you echo it independently. I tend to believe what you both say because I have friends who make 350+ and won’t date anyone who makes less. Kinda cuts off 99% of the market.
Yes. in the dating market it is the women who do the choosing not the men. The dynamics are the way they are because of women's choices.
Most men will want to date or have sex with any pretty willing woman.
High earning women stay single longer because they are holding out to meet a man who out earns them. It is biology.

My comments about his looks are true. They really bother you, huh? Nothing worse than a man who is ugly inside and outside to boot.
