We have put links for parents and players in the past to watch National Championship Series.
That's great! I enjoy seeing clips of talented youth enjoying their passion, and my DC likes it too. It inspires him to see what other kids and teams are doing. In fact, he follows YouTube channels set up by players. It's really not that big of a deal. There's some people paranoid U13 parent who flits around on this board making every little issue sacrosanct and on this thread keeps posting cries of indignation over nothing. It

The club doesn’t and obviously parents don’t. If I had videos there is no way in hell Im sharing a link to anyone here because you’re all obnoxious.
but ur above everything that goes on here ... right ... check that U13 soccer mom!
PPs just saying ASA (not you!) put up simple vids if its girls style has changed since it got the patch and no more goalkeeper punts.
You’re not disproving my point about being obnoxious.

I have seen the Arlington girls u13 DA team play and they primarily played a possession game. I was impressed with their abilities for 12 year old girls. Definitely beyond most teams at their age in this area. I am not with Arlington, so I can’t judge beyond that.
Impossible, just like the person who said they'd seen Arlington GDA play last year.
Arlington GDA only has U14 and U15 age groups. There is no U13 GDA team.
FWIW, I have heard that the U14s do play out of the back, through the midfield, and generally try to play a posession style, but I have not seen it myself.
You are wrong. US Soccer has a u13 pilot for the Atlantic conference and Arlington is part of that along with the other area DAs. Again, I can only comment on that group, but they looked pretty good. I’ll look out for the older groups in upcoming events.
There is definitely a U13 team. They have been doing well and they have an excellent coach. I know he coaches a non-DA team as well.
AND (this might blow some of your minds) at least during ONE practice a week, the girls practice with a BOYS’ DA coach AND they work on some of the same things the boys are working on. Crazy, I know. ?
1) Why would they not work on ALL the SAME things the boys are working on?
2) If coaching non-DA teams as well, why wouldn't this carry over to the rest of the club? One style is OK for DA, but keep the old style for the remainder who subsidize the DA?
Exactly who is subsidizing the DA?
The 6 lower teams that are all crammed on to one field with shared coaches

If you see numerous 5+ pass sequences and some 10+ sequences, it would be difficult to argue that it is a run and gun team. You've got to show the evidence one way or another to back up your arguments.
Or just go and watch a game and judge for yourself. Links don't need to be posted of games.
Yeah, that's not weird at all: a man going to watch girls play when he has no daughter on the team.
Besides, who has that kind of time? Why not just post a link? So much simpler. Just a short clip even, not a whole game? It's not against the rules...
Really? It is really any weirder than demanding online videos? It is really any weirder than the already deep obsession about all things related to thirteen year old girl soccer at a club one is not affiliated with? Somehow after the already weird questions and expectations going to a game is now crossing the line?
