I really think you just want something to b*tch about, perhaps you’re one of those women who isn’t happy unless she has something to complain about. If this is such an issue divorce and pay for your own damn roof over your head instead of spending your husband’s paychecks and trying to exclude him from THE HOUSE HE BOUGHT.

Mine comes home at lunchtime 4 days per week. Sometimes less. Taco Tuesday is the 5th weekday. And ocassionally has emergencies over lunchtime and eats something random that is super close to the office.

I love it BUT it’s actually like he isn’t here. It’s not as though he is here long enough to give me a break or help. But I’m happy to see him. And it’s cheaper for bill to eat here!!

Once in a blue moon he gets a longer lunch and he can help me. Today in fact I took the shortest nap ever. 5 minutes. It was something

Think about all the DCUM posts about husbands who DON'T want to see their kids and don't have time to come home because they work too much... The ABSENT father's and this woman is complaining her husband comes home for lunch to see his kid????


OP has repeatedly explained that the reason her DH comes home from work around lunchtime is because he needs to poop exactly at that time and he refuses to poop at work. He refuses to come home and hour earlier or later to accommodate his child's nap schedule, so he wakes up the child every day. They live in a small apartment a couple blocks from his work so that he can walk home to poop. They could have afforded a 2 bed apartment where the child wouldn't be so easy to wake every time the door opened, but the DH vetoed that because he would need to poop at work which was unacceptable for him. He has no problem leaving OP with an overtired kid who wasn't able to nap because he chose to wake them up.

TLDR: The DH is not coming home to see OP or to see or spend time with the kid.

This is ridiculous. You need your alone time?? Does he ever get alone time?? He probably enjoys the lunch break away from the grind of the office (which you don’t have to deal with) and he gets to see his son and (ungrateful, nasty) wife. He's not coming home to see their child, he's coming home to poop.


that may or may not be the case, and it may or may not be weird, but either way it's totally within his rights.
