Much less chaos in other churches. And, I don't have to explain to my child that gay people are sinners, transgender people are sinners, etc.
And my money no longer goes to the cover up of priests. And this was just one state! Think of how devasting it is when other states start coming forward and exposing the priests. Such a debacle.

The Catechism also teaches that all you need to do to get into heaven is confess your sins and say a good act of contrition. That puts you in a state of grace. The last rites would do the same.
Honest question for Catholics - do you seriously think that God would punish you if you stopped going to church, in the name of "boycotting" the non-action by Church hierarchy over molesting and raping children?
Do you really, truly believe in a God that would consider having faith on your own, outside the current church system, as dangerous to your salvation? Given current conditions? I honestly cannot fathom a God like that. If so, then he is not a good and just God.
Honest question for you. How many times have you posted in the last week? 200? 300? Do you have a family or any hobbies?
On all the threads? I've post about 5 times, total. Yep, I have family, hobbies, and was traveling a lot recently. I answered your question - how about you answer my sincere one, instead of deflecting by intentionally trying to insult people with your second question?
