As we watch the coverage of today’s summit and cringe, let’s not forget that Mueller is also watching today and has a great deal of interest in Trump’s handling of Putin after knowing about indictments. Perhaps this was the final nail in the coffin for this illegimate president.
How? Most of the GOP is silent, and they control both houses of Congress, and soon, the Supreme Court. The difference between this period and Watergate was that at least during the Watergate, Republicans were willing to call Nixon out on his bad behavior.

Trump "must appreciate that Russia is not our ally."
"There is no question that Russia interfered in our election and continues attempts to undermine democracy here and around the world," the statement read. "The United States must be focused on holding Russia accountable and putting an end to its vile attacks on democracy."
Feckless ****. Where the **** was he in October 2016?
+1 Sad that the only GOP people condemning Trump (Ryan, Flake, Michael Steel, McCain) are out or on their way out.
I would not call Ryan’s statement condemnation by any stretch.

Sure, but -
It’s not like any of this was a secret. If people didn’t know that Trump was a tax fraud and a business cheat and a money launderer and a crook and a spy and a rapist, that’s because they didn’t want to see.
True. But I wonder if they'd feel the same way about Trump being a Putin puppet.

I do have a serious question though for those of you and truly think you are witnessing the destruction or demise of America: What is it exactly that you fear is being destroyed? Do you really think that all the freedom you enjoy (and always have because nobody has been able to destroy it up to this point) is truly at risk? You'll have a new President in a few years. Even if something gets broke, it will be fixable.
