People were fed up with sanctimonious, holier-than-thou liberals who feel they know better than the "idiots" - who of course are people who disagree with them politically.
Still blaming others for your own actions? Grow a backbone. Trump voters chose a corrupt a-hole. That’s 100% on them.
Trumpsters never accept responsibility for anything.

Non-pc was going to win.
Trump was the only non-pc to run (didn’t care about reputation, tidying up his look or his policies or his past statements). *you might say Cruz or rand Paul would fit this mood too, I guess? But they’re ‘cleaner’ than him by a mile.
It’s unfortunate. I agree with being more aware and acting on social respect, but culturally, the left was large and in charge (still is) of our future. People are reacting against THAT.
/\ like I said, racists got super duper pissed about having a black president so elected someone that let them be racist with some pride
And still harping on the black thing, I see.
To the contrary, I would argue that Obama was elected BECAUSE he was black - and the tipping point came from other blacks who were eager to vote for a black man, any black man, simoly due to the color of his skin. Even that Charles guy on FOX business news (can't remember his last name) admitted that he didn't think Obama would be good but he voted for him because he was black.
Also, I know it makes you feel all superior and all to think you lost because other people are racists, but how did Obama win a second term - after he showed his incompetence and wrong-headed policies - if that were the case? You think the people who voted for Obama (I did, the first time) and then for Trump suddenly slapped their head and said, "what?? I voted for a black guy? Who knew??!"

We know that Trump is thin-skinned and what Obama did to him must have been humiliating. But if the speculation has any basis - and, yes, Trump has flirted with running for decades - it would be the ultimate irony that a bunch of jokes about Trump by Obama was the catalyst for Trump seeking the presidency and ultimately winning the election .......... and in the process undoing much of what Obama thought would be his legacy.
Definitely. Obama’s disdain for working Americans and entrepreneurs turned off voters as did his progressive Dismay at being an American. Voters were disgusted with the i hate America vibe. Trump rode that wave of disgust to the WH.

Destruction of ISIS
Engagement of North Korea
Unemployment under 4%
Business and consumer confidence at record highs

Here’s really trying his best to undo Obama’s thriving economy and 12,000 point stock market gain.

NP here: He is achieving results and doing what he said he'd do even if I don't agree with all of his policies. I did not vote for him but I have a grudging respect for the fact that he sticks to what he said he'd do which is such a contrast to the run of the mill elected politicians.
so you do agree with some of his policies?
and since you put him in office you get to take credit for him anyway. deplorable!
If you literally agree with ZERO of his policies, you may want to visit a neurologist.
(or you are Russian)
What are his "non-Russian" policies that we should ALL support?
