Subject: How many states have you been to?
Travel isn’t just about geography and tourist sites, it’s about people and culture. Every state is different. I’ve been to both Alabama and Mississippi and expected them to be pretty much the same. What surprised me was how different they really were. Not different like Mississippi and Massachusetts, but different nonetheless.

I think it depends. I only drove through South Dakota but we did see Mt Rushmore and the Badlands so I feel like it counts. But just drive thru only stopping for gas and restroom? Probably not.
I have been to most states except North Dakota, Mississippi, Kansas, Oklahoma. And no offense to those states but I don’t know that I have any reasons to go them them!
Mississippi has some lovely architecture and beautiful barrier islands with an old Civil War fort.
Right. It's the only state with architecture, barrier islands, and Civil War sites.

They are ALL worth visiting. I've been to all 50. Lived in 14. I've found something to love about every single state.

Meh. There's a bunch for which you can see equally or more exciting features elsewhere. Delaware, Indiana, Oklahoma, etc
Life is short. The world is big. If you want to see all 50, that's cool, but you can be very well traveled without it.
Unless you have drive across the American west, hitting every state west of the Mississippi, you cannot call yourself well travelled.
So someone who has been to dozens of countries but hasn't driven across Kansas isn't well traveled? GMAFB

Dang! I've only been to 19. It's on my Bucket List to visit all 50. Lots of European travel; looks like I need to travel domestic a bit more. lol
