Not sure. If you buy a 10-pack, it can be used for anything, right? So an off-peak one-off class is $27, but when you take one as part of your 10-pack, you're paying $33?
That's what I am trying to figure out. Say I buy three $27 off peak passes and the 10-pack. If I start the 10-pack, when I sign up for an off-peak class, can I make sure that the off-peak pass (and not the $33 pass) is used?

Recent PPs, please let them know your thoughts, if you haven't already. I feel so torn about whether and how much to continue, and thankfully don't have to decide for another month. I would be heartbroken not to go anymore, and probably won't drop it in entirely, but they are not making the decision easy. Ugh.

They announced a new investment in the fall by a private equity group that specializes in "consumer brands." This has the feel of "experts" messing with the business model to maximize profit without regard to any of the other factors that make it a place where people want to put their fitness dollars. I love Solid Core and will be really sad if it loses its way in pursuit of investment dollars and expansion.

I hate paying for childcare only to have the class cancelled. Surely they can recognize that if they committed to offering class at a certain time, they should uphold their end of the bargain--their clients jump through all kinds of hoops to make it there, and also have costs associated with canceling. In general, it costs me $57 to go to an off peak class ($27 class fee, plus $30 for two hours of childcare). I still have a class pack, but especially with the pricing change, I am getting to the point that it's just not worth it, even at once/week.
The 10hr cancellation window also means you get sick people coming to class, as I recently experienced.
Barre3 has childcare onsite, which is SO nice!

Yes, they do cancel when there aren’t enough people signed up, which means less than 5-6. Not sure what the window is but you should receive an email notice when it happens. They didn’t used to do this or at least not as often. They are offering a lot of off-peak classes (at least at my regular studios) but cancel not infrequently.
