The email and instructions they sent out have me incredibly stressed that I won't be able to get tickets.I've been a fan of Hamilton (the book the play is based on) since it was out in hard cover many years ago. And I love the soundtrack. Going to be so disappointed if I am unable to go.
Just a first world problem, I know.
This is a touring company. If you didn't see it s year ago on Broadway..,.
Oh I see, if we didn't shell out the big bucks to travel to NYC and see the original cast, it's not "really" Hamilton. GTFO of here.

+1
+2. The Hamilton thing will become a case study in collective madness among the privileged 1% willing to pay hundreds if not thousands of dollars to see something when you can read the original and much better book for $10, or listen to the soundtrack for ever for the same amount.

Super thankful that your husband is deaf, huh? Wow. Yeah, your beloved has to navigate this world without the sense of hearing but you got Hamilton tickets! You are just gross.
Anonymous wrote:So if I’ve learned anything from the private sale is that for the public sale if they use the same waiting room tactic, I should have at least 5 devices logged into the waiting room?

I suspect about half the folks in line at 10am didn't get tickets.
Yes - I got in line at 10:00 (had no idea the "waiting room" opened at 6:00 a.m.!) and got in at 8:15 p.m. There were only the $625.00 tix left so I didn't get them because I already have some from the National Theater subscription, but was trying to get more for a friend. They didn't want to spend that much.

Some people, espexially POC in our city, aren't fortunate enough to have Internet access, or a credid card.
This Hamilton promotion stinks of institutional racism.
There are walk-up tickets available to the public the end of march where they can pay with cash.
Kennedy center also regularly offers great discounts such as student ID 50% off discounts at the box office
There are often free concerts in the lobby area.
