I'm prepared to die on this hill. There's a slight T sound if the word following begins with a vowel which is often with the use of this word. Google French liaisons and how they use that T sound. It's actually different from our hard T sound.

I taught French people how to make sounds in American English that don't exist in French. Your tongue has quadrants.

However, it would be ridiculous to use this pronunciation here. I'm not sure why I'm so invested in this post. Perhaps I need therapy.
