Our house budget for Costco is $300 a month, so I try to stick with that. But the cheese is way cheaper there than Harris Teeter, but I found the organic chicken at Trader Joe's to be cheaper. We also get the 24-packs of La Croix there for $7.50. I also just picked up a zillion-pack of coffee filters for $2.99, which will last me a good 2 years. Enormous packs of string cheese, which my DH and kids can go through in a week or two, are also essentials.
Love Costco!
I love Costco too. I've been doing Aldi now though for a lot of stuff I used to get at Costco. It isn't in bulk, but OMG, Aldi is so inexpensive! And the meats are hormone free and you can get organic chicken there.
