To me, this sounds exactly like those people on FB - "Vague Posting," fauxmergencies, etc. Trying to drum up attention and/or sympathy for something that is never actually revealed. It's so obvious her face looks exactly the same and she's milking the attention. Bizarre.

She’s dealing with something no doubt. Her Cry Pretty is, well, a cry fest. And she clearly had been crying after her emotional performance. ACM cut away but the standing ovation for her continued for a full minute. She’s lost to Miranda for female vocalist about 9 times so I’m sure glad to see her pick up an award with Keith Urban.

I’ve always liked Carrie but I find it borderline offensive to people with real facial deformities to have made such a big deal out of this. She is oretttier than I will EVER be! If she thinks her face isn’t acceptable what about us average folk?

that's a part of the initial quote - she's talking about her wrist, and the 'other part' is the issue with her face. This is from January:

Aw man the news made it sound like this was some new mysterious thing! Curses.

She strikes me as a pretty private, calm person. I can't see her doing this for attention/marketing, especially because there is a feeling of being lied to/manipulated, as she 'looks' the same- which you would think would turn off her 'fans'.

Maybe the injury led to/was related to some other diagnosis that she isn't ready to talk about.

Everything in the music industry is well controlled. I'm sure she is doing it for the ratings. Who really cares if she fell down drunk?

Something is weird about the whole situation.

Was she drunk to fall that hard down the stairs? Did she actually have the accident.

Sorry but she looks the same and something is not adding up.
