I constantly felt a desire to kill him for the first 5 years of the relationship for his lack of discipline, bad time management, messiness, for using my tooth brush because his mind is somewhere else at the moment he reaches for a toothbrush, for sudden absences when we have a solid plan, for the last minute change of plans, and for soooo many more of his wonderful two-people-in-one-body things.
And then I let him off the leash and he blossomed in to an excellent trouble solver, creative, caring, fun FRIEND - not just lover - with curious mind and firecracking (in a good way) personality who painted my dark view of the world with rainbow colors (well, carefully and partially excepted, indeed). Love him )))))

PP here. This warmed my heart. And your first sentence made me laugh aloud. This is the breakthrough I stick it out for when the going gets tough. Right now I’m working for a Capri and I suspect she wants to murder me at times and sometimes I feel the same . The mutual appreciation for differences we have really does help both of us. Capricorns help me be more accountable to others, build discipline, and organize information in a way that isn’t so overwhelming to other people. But the leash thing is a real problem, but I realize it’s really tough for Caps to do. My dad is a Cap too. Thank you for sharing. As a whole, I like fire signs and earth signs the best, for different reasons of course. Earth signs - Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorns - I also like. They’re easy to read, dependable, helpful when it comes to putting the rubber to the road with endeavors, and great for advice. I do find them (Virgo and Capricorn in particular) to be a bit prickly at times. Love how Taureans love to eat. (My sister is a Taurus and she’s my favorite eating buddy.)

I hate Geminis. They’re okay socially, in doses, but I overall find them to be so unpredictable and all over the place - and rage-filled - it’s really impossible to plan around them, or even know what to expect. I like Aquarians - they are very “cool.” Nothing seems to ruffle their feathers and they are kind of zany in an endearing way. Libras I adore (as friends): supremely charming, wonderful taste, thoughtful gift-givers. Fun.

Water signs I have a hard time with. I have a deep love for Pisces, theoretically, but find them to be so adaptive that it’s hard to really know where they stand on anything. Also easily fall into a victim mentality - or perhaps more accurately, a martyr mentality.

Cancers are okay but tend to always be plagued by low-level depression. Can also be super passive-aggressive. But they’re very sweet and giving.

Scorpios are nuts, by nature. An evolved Scorpio is great, because they transmute the dark elements into potent personal power, but most stay mired in the paranoia and competitivenesss and general weirdness. I like to think I’m a good one.
