Its not very interesting. And its not very surprising. Plenty of the producers have a rapport with the people on the screen, its THEIR JOB to have that so there will be plenty of producers who are deemed "friends" or at least "friendly" with many of the contestants, or participants, whatever you want to call them.

Its not a significant factor. The only significant factor is that this individual took the action they chose to take, as in reporting and putting in a complaint.

But SHE is saying she doesn't hold the other participant responsible. How can anyone be held responsible if she doesn't allege that DeMario assaulted her.

No assault? ... then no responsibility to stop anything.

Without the allegation of an assault, she is left alleging that the show had some responsibility to ....babysit her?

That's probably why this is being called "misconduct" rather than assault/rape.... b/c whatever happened wasn't a crime, just regrettable. That's how it sounds to me.

The bolded is not mutually exclusive. I think the idea is the show is "responsible" because they were both too drunk to consent to anything? Bu it also sounds like she was unconscious when he had oral sex with her. If you don't think that's assault I don't know what is (therefore, she can still be a victim of assault without laying blame solely at his feet), and the show's producers and cameramen just sat there and filmed it. I think she's acknowledging what people on this board are always dying for - he was drunk too, therefore unable to consent either. But his inability to also form consent doesn't negate the fact that she was clearly assaulted.

Posting again to address victim shaming. If a grown woman gets drunk, takes off her clothes and makes a pass at a man then she is no victim. If she passed out, then, yes, she is a victim.

The Daily Mail is painting him as a rapist. If the tapes prove otherwise I hope he sues. What man in his right mind would spend time with her after this. If she was limp then she truly was a victim and that is horrible, but if she was lucid, what a nut.

What man in his right mind would hang out with her after this. Even if a horrible act occurred, she initiated so basically a drunk man needs to repeatedly check to make sure she is merely buzzed and not drunk drunk before he does anything even if she is making the moves.

I'm the person who said people should read Steve's column and why. I had been addressing the person on the prior page who said

The producer was Corrine's producer on the bachelor which is where they met, they likely became friends when she was filming Nick's season. That is a little different.

I think the friendship pre-dated Corinne going on Nick's season.
