Agree. Years ago a friends DW told me she and her husband hadn't had sex in something like five years. The way she said it and the look on her face was definitely advertising. I felt very sorry for her but I had no intention of helping her out. It was very uncomfortable given that she and my DW were very good friends. They are still married and I have no idea if they have worked things out. To be honest I thought her husband was nuts because she was really hot.

PP's wife probably maintained her libido. An empty nest isn't going to turn once a month into once a week, but it might turn once a week into 3-4x per week. If you're only having sex once a month, it's not because of the kids. If you're only having sex once a week, it might just be that the kids are holding you back.


PP here - my DW never lost her libido. However, we are currently babysitting for a week for two toddler grandchildren. We are exhausted at night.....we aren't 35! Pretty sure that we will skip a week.

Not pp, but I could have written it. They know and don't care. I don't see sex as some private thing that should never be discussed. I dont see discussing it as violating privacy. Hell, I'm a little proud that DH's friends know I give amazing blowjobs. I know I'm an outlier with how I view sex, and that's fine by me. There are some friends I don't talk to about it because I know their comfort level is different. But my close friends who I've had for years? Nothing is off the table.


Same here. Some people have a lot of hangups about the topic.

Not pp, but I could have written it. They know and don't care. I don't see sex as some private thing that should never be discussed. I dont see discussing it as violating privacy. This. I think we only talked about the outlier cases. If they were really good, bad, LARGE, small, could go 5 times in a row, etc. Now that we're married no one wants to hear about it anyway!

I love doing it too because it drives him crazy and I have complete control over him. It also gets me really going as well more than most other things we do.

Man here, same. Only time I hear about sex from guy friends is either 1) all the sex they have with APs, or 2) none of the sex they are having with wives.

Occasionally, someone will mention their wife having a mid-life surge of libido. That generally leads to him getting peppered with questions of how to put that in our wives coffee.
