If you can read Chinese:
https://www.zhihu.com/question/51331837
It might not be an easy task to define the term, for as a social media buzzword and very often an instrument for ad hominem attack, it could mean different things for different people. A thread on “why well-educated elites in the west are seen as naïve “white left” in China” on Zhihu, a question-and-answer website said to have a high percentage of active users who are professionals and intellectuals, might serve as a starting point.
The question has received more than 400 answers from Zhihu users, which include some of the most representative perceptions of the ‘white left’. Although the emphasis varies, baizuo is used generally to describe those who “only care about topics such as immigration, minorities, LGBT and the environment” and “have no sense of real problems in the real world”; they are hypocritical humanitarians who advocate for peace and equality only to “satisfy their own feeling of moral superiority”; they are “obsessed with political correctness” to the extent that they “tolerate backwards Islamic values for the sake of multiculturalism”; they believe in the welfare state that “benefits only the idle and the free riders”; they are the “ignorant and arrogant westerners” who “pity the rest of the world and think they are saviours”.
It's basically a term the Chinese use to trash people online.
Chinese here. What do you expect from a bunch of New Lefts who wanted Chairman Mao back? You are an idiot. If you like China so much, go live there and breath the fresh air.
Nobody here wants Chairman Mao. And we want nothing like your corrupt authoritarian government back in mainland China. Thanks for proving the point about the Chinese being clueless about American politics and society.

She is an embarrassment to Asian Americans. Major in Psychology and Theater, minor in German?
As a fellow Terp, this makes me sad.

They adopted a phrase "Obama" which means something that looks good, but is actually a zero. It might be used when buying a scratch lottery ticket - when you scratch it off, there's no prize - that's an Obama.

When did conservatives last march for those things? Not anytime in the last 30 years...
They didn't march, and neither did libs, so what's your point? Libs should be held to a different standard? We don't march about those because by and large we are in pretty good shape in those areas. We haven't had major terrorism issues and the hype around illegals far exceeds reality.
Well, republicans in general don't march or protest, we are much more about individual responsibility and action than collective complaining. Take a look at the list of protests and marches in DC:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_rallies_and_protest_marches_in_Washington,_D.C.#2017
As you can see, liberals tend to protest and march about the issues that care deeply about. Therefore, it would be indicative that liberals care deeply about jobs, the economy, and national security if they also marched about those things with the same frequency with which they protest and march about immigration, LGBT, and etc...
