Sorry all - another poster who doesn't like this dryer. I have Asian hair and this made it frizzy when I actually have silky hair. Didn't like.

Add me as another person who bought one based on this thread. I like it, but don't love it. All of the pros have been listed by other posters so I'll just list my cons:

- It is less powerful than my T2 so takes me longer, not shorter, to dry my hair (which is on the thin side and frizzy).
- I like to flip my head over and use the blow dryer to get the initial wetness out, and you can't do that with this style of dryer.
- It did make it much easier to dry my hair straight, but my hair looked and felt dry. I will try using a heat protectant like other posters have suggested.

If its the round one I have been using it with success for a few years, and I find I can pick them up at Marshalls and TJMaxx for around $30 from time to time so keep your eyes open when you go there.

Add me to the list.

I bought one based on this thread. I used it for the first time this morning. It took me 1/2 the time to dry my hair and I got a half dozen compliments on my hair by lunchtime!

Nope- I've in turn sold at least a dozen people on it. I think we are approaching cult status here, people.

Same, I've sent the link to at least a dozen people saying "prepare for your life to be changed".

I've been on DCUM for a long time, this is the post that made the most impact in my life.

OP here - WOW people, I am very excited that this has really worked for so many people. I mean how many times do we see ads promising that something will work and it doesn't! Seriously awesome.

I just got mine last night (thanks, OP). I used some Ulta points.

I have fine/frizzy/wavy hair. for the most part it did a good job but I was hoping for a bit more volume.

I bought one off Amazon and I love it. It has cut down my hair drying time in half. My hair is a wavy curly combo that I used to have to use a hairdryer on, then use a large barrel curling iron to get nice soft waves.
To PP, there is a learning curve. I have to use it on large sections and pull it out and away from my face, and use a anti frizz serum in the middle of doing it.
I only wash just my hair every 2-3 days, too.
I also found that the medium setting is better than high.
OP thank you SO MUCH for starting this thread, I would have never thought to get this device on my own.

This website drives me crazy at times and then threads like this one affirm its usefulness. I have wavy to curly thick hair and I got the round brush reckon based on this thread, I really like it. I tend to wear my hair curly even though I prefer it blown out because since having kids I just don't have the time. I now may go back to more regular blow outs, I don't get the shine like from a more professional blowout but it's as good as my usual round brush blowouts and it's faster and a lot less tedious.

I bought one a couple weeks ago due to OP. Had a 25% off discount via Google's online shopping. Figured I'd give it a shot. Love it, especially because I am bad at blowing out my own hair (don't have the patience).

Haven't bought a new product in a very long time (due to inertia...and kids taking up my time). You have definitely boosted sales. Thanks all!

PS- Do you think it's worth getting the paddle AND the round brush? For variety?

PPS- what is this heat protectant?

I'm the PP at 22:15 an this is the heat protectant I got:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LMIVLXY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s01?ie=UTF8&th=1

Actually I had bought a $4 bottle of Tressemme heat protectant at Target but then accidentally left it in my cart! So I got this one.
