We didn't add the lic plate number added and got a ticket in the mail after switching the the ez box to a car. I called and added the license number and they forgave it.
So...I have used my ezpass over the holidays (without registration) in a rental car in RI, in a DC taxi from DCA to arlington and in an uber from DC to my house...and in my car.
My EZ pass is in my husband's account...should he check we didn't violate rules here? BTW, I did not know that you had to register it...I just thought that if the EZ pass was registered and the credit card worked, all was well.

And they told him that his case is already with collection agency and the Authority can not help him in this matter anymore and he has to contact with collection agency. Upon contacting collection agency he learned the only deal he can get is to pay the the half of amount about $5000 to clear it or in case of instalment he has to pay the entire amount $11000.
But what he ever received in mail was the red envelope, i mentioned above, an only first and the final notice. No warning letters of any kind prior to this notice. EZPA is selling poor people to the corporate vultures like these collection agencies.
He’s lying to you - he absolutely knew he owed them.

You aren't allowed to do this. It's car specific.
