Yes, you can find some of them online. And depending on the perfume, you can even find them in the discount stores like Marshall's, TJ Maxx, Burlington.


If you buy perfume at discount stores, you’re doing it wrong.

I have my grandmothers bottle of Givenchy lll, vintage. Whenever I wear it I get compliments. I’ve bought a newer bottle, but never get the same compliments.

I really like Jo Malone Orange Blossom but scent doesn’t last very long, esp for the price point.

L'air de temps Nina Ricci. It's a classic but smells good on everybody. But please buy it from airports especially Charles DeGaulles, Schipol or Sheremetova.

Clive Christian C, Amouage Lyric and Memoir (any Amouage , really, except Sunshine - the failure of a new designer) - hands down best.

I don't get it either. I wear perfume every day but I really intend for it to be smellable only if you're right up next to me. If a friend or coworker said anything I'd be worried I was wearing way too much.

You probably are reserved and private and people sense that about you so they don't ask questions about your perfume. That doesn't mean that they don't notice it, though.

This thread is informative/interesting and amusing, in equal doses. The part most striking to me is how many posters get verbal compliments on their perfume choices - not once has anyone commented to me on my scent, and I think it would be kind of creepy if they did.
