It's just a TV show. It doesn't "prove" anything. Every other show with monogamous couples must "prove" that monogamy doesn't work then.

All of the women, except Janelle (and Cody) were born into for multiple generations. This is their normal.
I think Janelle’s mother may have converted, but I’m not sure how old she was when her mother did that. Same for Cody with his father, I think. They have had exposure to the rest of the world to a degree, especially with TV now. I think it’s arguable as to how much that exposure as an adult would influence people that have been raised this way and their mothers and grandmothers have been raised this way. I think their children are more likely to make different lifestyle and family choices due to more experiences at a younger age outside of their family and their community.

Do you think this move to Flagstaff is (at least partially) Cody trying to get rid of Meri?

I would think that Discovery would do a show on HDTV about them building their house in Flagstaff. It would be cheaper for the family and may get them out of their current financial pickle.

If that article is accurate, they paid 1,340,000 for land and Christine's house, will be building homes, and are paying 9,375 per month to rent in Flagstaff... Not dirt cheap to me
