I was into astrology a few years back. A person's sun sign is just one part of their astrological chart. The rising sign and moon sign are equally important. To determine all that, you have to know the exact time of birth, and date and year and location of birth.

Agreements with our creator, with ourselves, and with others about the experiences we need to have while we are on earth in human bodies. These experiences are meant to help us grow spiritually. For example, if you need to work on compassion, you might agree to experience loss. Of course once we are born we have no memory of these contracts. We choose our birth sign as a way to leave little clues for ourselves. Deja Vu and premonition also provides clues that we are in the right path.

Just another possible explanation for why horoscope can be eerily accurate at times.

You sound like my type of person

Haha

My birthday is tomorrow. Can't wait.

I agree with all you've said and to add- doesn't always show up in birth sign. For example, I have to learn to make money in this lifetime, and I have past karmic debts associated with that. That was only revealed to me by looking at the rest of my birth chart, as all the houses have different meanings, and you are looking to see patterns and to see which houses planets are distributed in, which planets have conjunctions or oppositions, etc. It all can seem very complicated and incomprehensible at first but when you learn it it becomes fairly easy to read and see those patterns!

Pisces are water (feeling/nurturing) signs, deep, feeling, intuitive people, who are very intelligent and sensitive. They can mope, or be self-pitying, but also have a wonderful sense of humor. My best friend, and a number of relatives are Pisces.

Oddly, I don't get along very well with Scorpios (water). They are a little too boisterous for me.

I put in bold how it fits a Pisces that I have known for over 40 years. However, while sensitive can be extremely insensitive to others feelings that cross her own.

This is a great summation of Pisces. And yes I avoid sScorpios also, though they seem to be drawn to me (and probably Pisces in general) and the Pisces-Scorpio relationship is one of the most vaunted, mythologized and respected connections within the zodiac. But Scorpios are simply too hurtful when they get angry (hence their designated sign), and it's too much for me.
