I whether or not you agree with her politics she is an extremely competent indvidual who does have a vested interest in helping others.
She has one area of extreme competence:
pathological lying.
You are driven by hate. Show us your alternative and we will show you the lying they are engaged in. If you tolerate that and hold it against Hillary, tell us what is the actual reasons you do not like her. It will say something about your core belief.
You are using a false standard. Just the fact that Trump ALSO lies doesn't make Hillary's lying any more attractive. Lying is not a good thing even if you lie less than your opposition. Carl Bernstein is hardly a conservative but his profile of Hillary pointed out the same thing. It's OK to acknowledge that this is true without saying that the other guy is even worse. This doesn't make Hillary's flaws disappear.

What does Carl Bernstein's opinion have to do with anything? Hillary has been proven to tell lies at the rate we all do. Like you. Like me. Donald lies like the rest of us breathe.
You and I are not running for office so no one is judging us through that lens. Don't you think people expect a presidential candidate to be slightly better than Joe Blow? When candidates run on the platform "I'm one of y'all", they don't usually mean "I'm as fucked up as you are."
Carl Bernstein opinion matters because it shows that a) not just rabid conservatives are turned off by her tenuous relationship with the truth, and b) he has access to a lot more information and sources than most people.
So what is it, you want to have beer with the president who feels just like ordinary joe BUT you expect the president to be perfect without blemish. Good luck finding such a person coz they are mythical and don't exist.
So the choice is AlWAYS between politicians who like a normal human. In the case of TRUMP he is sociopathic liar, to the point he lies like normal people breathe. So if you like a sociopath he is your guy. Sociopaths are also very charming and easily con others.
I don't want to have a beer with the president. What I expect is to be able to have an actual discussion about the strengths and weaknesses of the preferred candidate without swatting people down or yelling at them to shut up my man is perfect your man is so awful how dare you question my man. What I would like is for the elected candidate to feel accountable for their honesty and integrity and not interpret the popular vote as a popular mandate to keep on lyin'. It's not reaching for the stars to expect the holder of the most powerful office on earth to be truthful. Don't you think it's a reasonable expectation?
It is not a reasonable expectation to have a politician with integrity and morals when the general population has neither. Politicians are part of the society and reflect the morals of the society at large. Hillary is a throwback in the age of reality TV where only instant gratification matters. Unfortunately a diverse country can't be changed for every citizens instant gratification, sometimes totally opposite ones. The reality is that one party is stuck catering to a segment that wants to return the country to a white past BUT that will never happen. But that segment blames their misery on the "other". Then comes a con man who has no qualms in taking them for a ride to satisfy his own ego trip. He has no solutions to their real problems but promises to fix it by kicking out the "other", knowing very well that can't be done. It is not the con man's fault. It's the reality TV society that is easily duped because they want results tomorrow without their own hard work.
To have a decent conversation you need to have someone who will start the conversation in a respectful language and tone. Questioning a sitting president's birth is not the way, calling an American as Mexican is not the way, disrespecting all minorities and women is not the way. The discourse wouldn't have been this low had Kasich or Jeb was there on the other side. Also many Americans have to get used to the idea that their way of life is theirs and others don't intrude into it. But this is a diverse country and the clock can't be turned back. So learn to give and take respect with every American.
