Your issue is that the majority of American people ("we the people") still believe in the constitution and the second amendment.
What many of you are trying to do is to get Congress to enact a law that is unconstitutional. Why are you surprised that Congress has not been successful?
The last two congresses have passed fewer bills than almost any in history. Gay marriage was not a bill passed through congress, it made it's way through the courts and local legislatures. Obamacare happened like 7 years ago when a party controlled the house, senate and presidency so nothing remotely close to today.
The majority of Americans support sensible gun control but are being drowned out by NRA lobbyists. Sorry you're not a fan of the truth.
