How would lando's son have been handed over for storm trooper training?
Wasn't Lando a player?
Player with a heart of gold. I don't see him not tearing the Galaxy apart if to find a his stolen child. My vote is Finn is not Lando's.

Wtf. What did I miss between episode 2 and 7? Were they not all clones of jango fett?

In the beginning it seemed to me that a disobedient storm trooper would be killed in the spot. I know they needed him for the storyline but it just didn't fit for me.

I sadly was not as wowed. I thought the bad guys sucked. The ren costume was cheap looking. And he didn't seem capable of being a true bad guy - the 2 temper tantrums were just embarrassing.
As for Leia, waaaaay too much filler/Botox or whatever the hell they did to make her face frozen. It was like it was painful to talk.

My guess is that she was a young Jedi being trained by Luke and showed a lot of talent; when the other Jedi trainees were killed, Ben/Ren did not have the heart to kill her, and so relocated her to a place where she was unlikely to turn into a problem. I think the light saber could have just been calling to her because she is so strong in the force.Does either of your kid have an interest in babysitting this weekend? We were thinking of trying to catch a 10:00 movie Saturday, or maybe something Sunday evening. Bed and breakfast available to anyone that wants it!
Wasn't clear to me if Han/leia definitely realized that the fact that she was on Jackoo was significant, but the wise old lady seemed to indicate that the girl's parents were dead, which would seem cruel of the parents were Han and leia. I think Han was just reaching out to her as a kindred spirit, and the child he wished he had.
I was somewhat disappointed in: (1) what seemed a lack of any real connection between Han and his son. I'm hoping (probably futile) that they at least bring Han back for flashbacks in the next one, as I thought he was the best part of this movie and I'd like to see more of the father-son thing; (2) the fact that Leia does not appear to be a Jedi. Wasn't it said at the end of return of the Jedi that "there is another" meaning leia? Why didn't she get the force too? (3) Han and leia are basically divorced. I mean, if they can't make it, what hope dO the rest of us have?
