Subject: Do Muslims, Jews and Christians worship the same God?
OPs question is like rhetorical or a riddle. Logically the question presumes all three religions are "correct" in a sense, which cannot be the case. Thus, the question should be if each religion BELIEVES they worship the same god, which answer is obviously yes.

Why is that you think God as Christians and Jews worship Him is the same, but Allah is some other god (small g I am sure in your view)?

Christians and Jews worship the same Go. While Jews would deny that Jehovah (this God) had a Son who died for our sins, as Christians will attest, Christians still worship the same God of the Jews.
Islam and Judaism both trace their spiritual lineage to Abraham, as you note, but the God-concept of Islam is different from that of Judaism and Christianity. Jehovah and Allah are both seen as omnipotent and merciful; however, in both Judaism and Islam, God’s mercy is dependent on man’s actions. This is absolutely not true in Christianity.
The history of Islam going back to the beginning suggests that Muslims saw the God they worshiped as the same worshiped by Jews and Christians in early Arabia and that the common heritage to Abraham tied it together.
Yes, the concept of God varies quite a bit between the three religions, but none believes that the other two worships anything other than a single creator God to whom adoration is due.
Even within Christianity the concept of God can vary quite a bit. Unitarians, for example, reject the Trinity and generally see Jesus as only human but inspired by God. That is not so different from the Muslim view of Jesus.
