Nothing could stop my love for him. Nothing. Except if he had an abortion but since that's unlikely, love grows.
When he said the above to my sister's shack up, the man nearly almost passed out. It was so funny ! He's one of those socialist bumper sticker liberals. Sometimes I think it's the only thing keeping his vehicle from falling apart. I have pictures.
If my sister or her bed partner spoke to us the way some of you post here, I'd disown both of them. Not because of their different views but because they let politics TRUMP family love. I can't have that. I'm above that. To a certain point. A point no one has ever crossed. We laugh. Life is too short.
I just sent her grocery money. Boyfriend got laid off. Again. I don't hold grudges like some of you do.

We have RETURNED TO that point in our nation's history.
People don't get - because it has passed out of living memory - that before the Depression/WW-II generation - things in this country were a lot nastier all around. Ethnic/Religious Xenophobia are absolutely nothing new.
The nice thing to remember is that, slowly but surely, we keep nudging along in the right direction - away from the politics of people like Trump.

I actually posted this on a Trump thread in politics a week or so back and got attacked as a harpy and terrible spouse and who knows what else. Saying you can tolerate political differences in a marriage is one thing. But this strikes at fundamental, core values. This guy is essentially Hitleresque. I actually don't see ANY redeeming value he has, period.
What's worse is that my husband is so vehement about him primarily for two reasons -- one, he admires his "strength" and "anti-PC" stances, and two, he hates Hillary Clinton in an irrational and really toxic way that exposes some misogyny he has that I never detected before we were married. I mean, I can't stand Hillary Clinton much, either, but I'm not enough of a nihilist about the differences between corporatist Democrats and corporatist Republicans to really think she's no better than them.
The irony is that he'd vote for Bernie Sanders if he was the nominee. He just hates Hillary.
I am dreading the next year. I honestly don't know if our marriage will survive.
You sound like a Nazi yourself.
Hitleresque?! - The level of stupidity on this forum is astounding. Yes, you disagree with Trump. I get it, but to paint him as a Nazi or the next Hitler is beyond the pale. Have we really reached the point in our nations story that we need to vilify anyone who doesn't agree with us?

If my sister referred to my boyfriend as my "shack up" or "bed partner" that would be the end of the relationship.
Speaking of not wanting to have a relationship with people with mean-spirited values.

Sure it always someone else fault.

Stop trolling.
OP here. I'm definitely not trolling, and I'm not actually very liberal or political. I really thought that all rational humans could agree that he could NEVER be president and that this little fad he's having is a reaction to other things instead of agreement with his insanity.
I try to avoid the topic, since I'm not into politics, but Fox news is on every morning and evening, and DH will bring it up on his own.
