Bet if you went door to door at nearby

Potomac Gardens Apartments
1225 G St SE
Washington, DC 20003

You would be able to find them and most of the criminals in that area.

Those things should be bulldozed.

WSL has evolved from (1) it didn't happen the first time because there are too many police around, to (2) it's a harmless prank, to (3) the school isn't responsible and these crimes don't reflect the school. Good grief!

Don't give me this discussion that they had on the school uniform, so they are still held responsible for their actions. All that's going to do is telling the kids take off your uniform and continue with your illegal activities. The student was apprehended but the school system would have to be hard-pressed to have a nexus to the school day and illegal activity. If the child is arrested and since it was an off the premise arrest...the only thing that can and may happen is that the student will get ankle monitor and be allowed back into the school. Carry on....no jail time for a snatch and grab juvenile

The incident is associated with EHS when EHS students wearing EHS uniforms are involved. Seems pretty obvious.

All I know is I went by that 7-11 yesterday around 5 and police were everywhere. I guess trying to stop a repeat?

Students who are engaged in criminal activity are not that likely to rock the IB exams. Goes to show that Eastern is sams old same old, just with a new coat of lipstick. The stroller brigade, class of 2021, will continue to snub Eastern. Eventually DCPS is going to turn it over to charters or voc-Ed, depending on the most fashionable new educational theory. Enjoy your marching band and football team while it lasts, Wordsalad.

I'm pretty sure it's a new incident, as it was posted on 9/23 to the MPD listserv.

Many of these kids have no parents, or sad excuses for parents. If you want to help, get involved with the school. They've helped so many kids via community partnerships.

You might want to consult with a good criminal defense lawyer first.
