OP is rude, about as rude as you can get. Once you're out of middle school a fart is something that never happened. The only thing to do is to ignore it. Were you guys brought up in a barn?

I actually think it is pretty funny to let one loose then look annoyed as if it was somebody else in the line.

Rude. The best thing to do is to quietly sacrifice that oh-so-precious spot in line; the next is to ask someone to hold your place briefly. You shouldn't explain why, it's not anyone's business but your own unless you're under four.



Who is rude? The person who farted (and didn't willingly sacrifice his/her spot in line or ask Op to hold his/her spot in line briefly) OR is Op rude for recognizing an embarrassing situation for what it was and offering to hold the person's place in line while they ran to the bathroom?
