OP, I am very sorry, and I cannot imagine how you must be feeling right now.

Did you happen to notice the expiration date on the packages? The polyurethane ones DH and I used between me getting off BC and TTC had a shorter shelf life than expected. I can't remember exactly but when we went to use them again after the baby was born, they had expired. Not sure if this is the case for all condoms--I have a latex allergy, so I have only ever used poly.

OP, I am sorry for what you are going through now. Your world must be in a catastrophe now + your mind must be so confused. Been there, done that.

And you are probably right, he will deny, deny DENY even if there is tangible evidence that he is messing around.

I highly doubt he has "old" condoms, that he uses them for his own self-pleasure or that he is holding on to them for a friend. Trust me, he will give you the whole gamut of excuses if confronted.

But that still wouldn't stop me from confronting the cheater. I'll give him a tiny bit of credit, at least he is being smart about catching thus spreading a sexual disease.

You pretty much have all the evidence you need that he is being unfaithful. I don't know what more you would need, that would be sufficient enough for me to leave the rat.

But I do not know you nor do I know the true dynamics of your marriage.

In any case, one of the conditions of you staying with him after his previous cheating should be complete transparency on his part. You should be able to look at his phone, emails, social media, anything, any time, without asking. Of course, we all know that dedicated cheaters have secret phones, accounts, and usually cover their tracks pretty well. He wasn't too bright about the condoms, though.

As has been mentioned, I wouldn't say anything to him, but gather info for my own peace of mind, because you know very well how exhausting it is dealing with the lies and half truths, and it's better just to have the info you need to pull back and make your decisions on your own.

I'd get out now. He's going to keep doing it. Make your arrangements and see the lawyer before you talk to your husband.
