For Muslims that disagree with secularism and do not feel comfortable in Belgium, there are 57 beautiful Muslim countries in the world, most of them under-populated and ready to receive them with open halal arms in accordance with Shariah.

If you left your country for Belgium, and not for other Muslim countries, it is because you have considered that life is better in Belgium than elsewhere.

Ask yourself the question, just once, "Why is it better here in Belgium than where you come from?"

It's plenty relevant. MCPS does not allow tests to be administered on Muslim holidays, and it's an excused absence. It's not as though concessions haven't been made.

I would rather scrap all the religious references than note Muslim holidays-but I think the Muslims need to realize that this country was founded on Judeo-Christian values, not Muslim ones. I pray this country will NEVER become Muslim centric-then it will be time to flee as it will no longer be America!

I always love how Christians think that non-Christians asking for equal recognition of their holidays are considered alien, disrespectful, should go back home or just learn to live with recognition for Christian holidays and no recognition of their own.

But if you try to make well wishes generic and inclusive like "Happy Holidays" it's a war on Christmas/Christianity.

Nah - they don't care about other religions. I'm sure they are happy now that they got the Jewish and Christian holidays wiped off the calendar.

Except, geniuses, that Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur generally occur in September. Are we now going to have 1-2 days of "Fall break"? And is that really fooling anyone, or respectful of people's intelligence? I resent that Spring break is moved around to match Easter every year, and telling me we don't have Good Friday off, we just have Spring break, doesn't really change anything.
