The thread still up? Might be my 2nd go on it but as I might have said, there's nothing to buy. I have a home, car, clothes, food and get to travel. What else do I need to spend on? Can't stand knick-knacks, and Lululemon , shoes or bags don't excite me.

You have expensive taste, but bought a new house that didn't have granite in the bathrooms or crown moulding? So I guess on your long list of failures in life, you might as well add trolling.
It was a brand new house. The builder offered finishes that I was not thrilled with. I felt I could get nice stuff on my own.
Builder offered wood moulding, yuck. We wanted plaster crown moulding.
Builder had four choices of granite. I wanted more options.
Sorry if that make me a troll.
If you have "expensive taste" your builder would have been good enough to provide these items.
Sorry your lame troll story isn't holding up.

If you have ever bought a new house, you would know these items are not standard from the builder.
Uh, yeah they are, if it's a decent builder.

Oh BS. There is always ken thing you can buy if you want too. Clothes. New bedding, new books, electronics, new organization systems, you could do home updates. My house is three years old and I am constantly changing things and adding this. new closet system, wainscoting, granite counters in bathrooms, added a pool, next is a cabana. Did a new deck, fence, hot tub.
Still want to finish basement, crown moulding, painting, need to landscape.
You must live counting your dollars because there is always something to spend on. Unless you are super cheap.

Unfinished basement- we finish it, has nothing to do with taste
No crown moulding, add it
No pool, add it.
No fence, add it.
My taste is expensive. I don't need to remove things, I ADD things. I love love love making my home my sanctuary.
I sometimes sit and admire this house.
I have spent tons, I could spend a few hundred grand more easily.
