Your knowledge of human anatomy is...interesting. Psst, this is not how it works, even when you are nine months pregnant. If your husband's appendages of any sort can touch the baby's head in utero, you have much bigger problems than CPS. See a doctor ASAP. Also, NASA since you are possibly an alien.

Technically the husband's dick isn't anywhere near the baby's head...there's a thick cervix in between them, not to mention and aminotic sac and fluid. The fetus has no idea what is going on.

Look I get that people hunk the situation described is not a good parenting choice. What my colleague and I were trying to convey was that there are a lot of bad parenting choices that do not rise to the level of "child abuse" as an actionable issue. It's not about excusing it because it's a good decision or callig family services because it's abuse. There are a variety of things that in my family are not acceptable, that I do not think are appropriate parenting choices (spanking being the main thing that came to mind). However, in other families, that's an acceptable discipline choice and the law says that provided the spanking does not exceed certain guidelines, it shall not be deemed child abuse. You can agree or disagree, but my point was that in the universe of sex abuse, what was described is the swat on the butt that many on this forum consider a valid disciplinary action.
