Retaining 4th graders into 5th says nothing about their plans for Eliot Hine. Probably a wait and see kind if thing.

BASIS filled up fast and went straight to waitlist. They do not have spots open. http://www.myschooldc.org/find-schools/available-spaces/

this is updated weekly and reflects that spaces were either filled in 1st round of lottery or most definitely during 2nd phase of lottery. Nearly every in-demand school and many less than in-demand schools filled in round one, including Basis

Potomac Ave > l'Enfant via Blue/Orange. Wait till Metro riders see what's in store for them!

The kids who live in Potomac Gardens and are IB for Tyler live even further from Jefferson than than the Brent kids. I'd bet transportation to Jefferson is going to be tough for them.

I'm guessing that the Potomac Gardens kids would have no problem taking the Metro.

PP here -- that's why the 11th Street and SESW freeway demarcation lines make sense instead of this mess we have.
