Do you want to know when it happens, or is that information not helpful? Just happened to me in Family Relationships, on an iPhone.

Whatever is doing the redirects is being snuck into the ad system in violation of the ad networks' policies. It is definitely adware. Tracking this down is problematic because users don't get the same ads. Those of you who tend to get redirected are being targeted for some reason and those of us who aren't getting aren't being targeted. While we use Google Ad Exchange as our primary ad server, Google itself serves ads for other networks. Those network, in turn, accept ads from additional network and advertisers. It looks like those providing the ads are able to feed them to low tier networks which send them up the chain. So, trouble shooting it is a real pain. It is even more difficult in that I can't even get the ad that causes the problem in the first place.

I'm having trouble finding a solution to this. For your immediate situation, I think you should clear the cache of mobile Safari. If you are not sure how to do that, let e know. Longer term, I'm trying to figure out how to block ads from kochava (which is an ad network, not an advertiser). But, I haven't found an easy way to do this and will have to contact Google support.

It has been 23 hours since a redirect was reported (and I reported that one. It's been about 30 hours since anyone else did). Has anyone been redirected or is it case closed on this one?

Google engineers are trying to reproduce the redirect by visiting pages on our website, but not having any luck. If you get redirected, please report it so that we still know that it is still happening.
