Another reason it is superior academically , athletically and ethically.

No dog in this. But UMD booster zinged you good on that. I had no idea that Umd grads did all this, it's a huge impact on the United States . I can't imagine what the world would be like without these geniuses from UMD.
Unfortunately, UVA seems to have no impact whatsoever , I wouldn't even notice if all the alumni accomplishments didn't happen.

Shockingly, these points are not luring additional applicants to your school, or giving the school a high yield of admitted students. Although I hear that it makes a lovely safety school for UVA applicants. And no, I didn't attend UVA, I just live in the real world.
That's my point. UVA ... hard to get in because the actual school is easy then you graduate and do title searches. Everybody likes to look good doing easy work !! Umd dominates in the hard subjects where geniuses reside.
