Oh God yes. She is the most annoying character ever. I hate how everything she says sounds like a question.
That's the Yorkshire accent (and lots of other northern English, Scottish, Northern Irish accents), love it or not.

So…which Cora/Lord G daughter is really the aunt's daughter? Think Edith is really the aunt's daughter?
Or do you think the aunt just has some kid out there same as Edith?
Interesting - especially since she looks different (lighter hair, less delicate features) than Cora and the other two girls.
But isn't the aunt a widow? That was referenced at one point. Why would she need to give her baby to her brother? Unless she got married later in life, I guess.
I think the implication would be that she for pregnant before marriage and gave the baby to Robert and Cora, who were already married.
Did anyone else find Roberts indignation about the prince funny considering his own make out session w the maid a few seasons ago?

I do wish Mary and Edith got some friends though. Why do they never have any close girl friends?
Anonymous wrote:Oooh, and at one point Edith said to her aunt something like: No offense, but you are not a mother. But, maybe she is? But then, wouldn't the aunt confide in Edith to make her feel better? But, maybe not if Edith is her daughter? I don't know....

I've been wondering why none of the suitors are interested in Rose. She's a fresh-faced ingenue with money and a title... why no interest?
I also wish one of them would take a liking to Edith. Aside from her sad-sack ways, she's my favorite. I loved the last scene when she marched out of the drawing room after announcing she would be going back to Switzerland (presumably, for her baby). She finally had a fire in her eyes, but I feel terrible for the Swiss family.
