Take home is 8800. PITI is approx. 2400, but we pay approx. 2600, which amounts to making 1 extra payment per year. When we bought our home, our take home pay was around 6000.

About $14K take home and mortgage is about $1700. We max out retirement account for one of us, while the other one doesn't contribute to retirement account (spouse's firm gives 10% of salary without contribution). We do have rental income from other properties which I'm not including here as with repairs etc. right now they are probably costing us more than we are bringing in as we are upgrading a few. We have two young ones so still incurring daycare and nanny costs.

Roughly 14k take home, actual mortgage is $2500 however we pay $3300, knocking down principle.
