DC himself was so proud that slapped the "honors student" sticker on my car before I knew about it. I feel like ripping it off would send the wrong message. So when you see me driving around, understand this....

I love this one! PP who posted the above must have one of those "My kid is an honor student at xxxx middle school" bumpers stickers on his/her car. Oh and even better are the ones that say, "My child was inmate of the month at xxx prison." Ha ha ha ha!
And yes, I'm a parent and I will never, ever put those stupid honor student stickers on my car.
I'm the PP you quoted. I do not have honor student stickers (or any stickers) on my car. Although I don't particularly like those honor student stickers and I would never use one myself, I understand that some parents are very proud of their children (and perhaps even the children are the ones who urged the parents to display the sticker...and what parent is going to say no to that?)
But a pet owner, apparently feeling threatened or offended by the honor student stickers for some strange reason, putting stickers on his car that says "my dog is smarter than your child" -- That's just mean-spirited.

The Duggars have 20+ kids. Those families have 4-6 kids.
There is a little bit of difference there.
Yes. ONE family with 20 kids. Endless families in NOVA alone that you multiply EACH by 4-6 kids.
Hope this helps.

Some of you need thicker skin. A few of these examples are truly offensive (the Calvin and Hobbs one, certainly) - many of the others are inaccurate, slightly meanspirited, and just do not comport with your own personal belief system. That does not mean they are offensive.
Yeah, if you are truly "offended" by seeing a bumper sticker like Romney 2012 or Obama 2012, it must be hard for you to live in a democracy.![]()
A handful of the bumper stickers on here actually have been offensive, as in, "Whoa, where do you even go to buy something like that?"
And how do you drive that car to work? Around your neighborhood? On a date (e.g., the Calvin and Hobbes, the beaver-eater).
At preschool pickup?

I am so tired of Christians being hypocrites and then using "well we're all sinners" as some kind of a pass.
I'm so tired of liberals being hypocrites when they go on and on about one family (the Duggars) and give the mountains of Muslim families in NoVa a pass for each having at least 4-6 children. But overpopulation is only a Christian-blamed thing, apparently.
I am so tired of Christians like you thinking that liberals are the only ones who can't stand the Duggars.
But they're probably the only ones who simultaneously can't stand the Duggars and are absolutely forgiving in the many-child aspect to the Muslims. Period.
Who says they give Muslims a pass to have large families? Overpopulation is overpopulation.

Can you actually read Arabic (or other languages that use variations of the Arabic alphabet)? Or were you just assuming?
I am not 100% fluent in Arabic yet (currently studying), but I'm not just assuming. Really, there are many variations of ???? ??????? r?yat al-sawd?'. It's really just a replication of the original flag of Jihad flown by Muhammad during his conquests - it's not exclusive to just Al Qaeda, but to Jihadist groups in general, with minor variations. Some use the Seal of Muhammad, some use the Arabic text instead, etc.

This was in Charlottesville. Still offensive, but fueled by young idealism. No perspective for the sacrifices of those who serve.
Except, it's also a pretty accurate depiction of what armies do. So, there is that.
Not accurate in the sense that they do so much more than kill. They build schools, rescue those in harms way, and remove leaders who don't allow females to vote or go to school. The vast majority of those who serve never even fire a weapon in combat and certainly never kill anyone.
serve? They volunteered. They're getting paid. What else would they be doing if they could get a decent iob?
