Subject: At what age can a man no longer date a woman in her 30s or younger?
Ok, what age are you that you prefer someone younger than mid 30s? Cause im not having much trouble finding dates.

Don't listen to that guy. DH and I had three kids spanning conception ages from 35 to 42. All are just fine. Poster sounds like he's 65 with completely out of date data -- proving that you should stick to a better informed guy in his 30s.
Actually I'm in my mid-30's, and she reminded me of the single women I know who slut around with caddish guys thinking they have all the time in the world to settle down. Truth is, if you're a woman at 30 with no LTR prospects, you're way behind in the game. Plus, if I was dating her, I'd wonder how many guys she was plowed by in her single days.
Well, some of us (including me) are thinking the same about you Mr. Mid-30s, and would prefer someone younger as a result. So we're good.

Early-50s guy here. DW nearly my age is young in my eyes, but if she dumped me I can't imagine I'd be looking at 50yo women. What puts things in perspective for me is imagining the reaction of a 25yo's parents if I were to actually land such a new GF. Sad but true.

My ideal guy is 28-35 (I'm 30). I have dated men older than that in a quest to be openminded, but deep down I am concerned about how many years they have left of attractiveness and I'd prefer not to have kids with someone older. How bout a 36 year old professional who's in shape?
Of course. 7-8 years older is my stretch.

How old are you that you don't understand that attitude and experience are more important than "hot" when it comes to good sex?? Obviously, we all need to be with someone we find attractive, but once someone is in that range, being extra hot really doesn't add anything to the experience.

I don't date past 10yrs.I'm 32 now and dating last 3 guys since I was like 26. It seems to work out since I dont want any more kids. However i do run into some other younger guys but i think they would want kids but never too sure to invest into them because I'm really at 97% sure I dont want any more kids.

"sexual stride" is a madeup term. Women in their 20s are much hotter and more fertile.
Who cares about fertility? I'm much sexier in my 40s than I was in my 20s. Much more confident, and way more libido.

In Russia, competition for a non alcoholic hardworking man is something fierce so the women have to do a whole of compromising when it comes to men. Also there's a saying there "a man only has to look one degree better than the devil" (as long as he has money).

Is this turning up of noses at May-September relationships cultural? I just came back from four years in Russis, and women there do not seem to give much negative thought to dating older men.
FWIW, the 30 - 30 Russian women were good for a whole lot of NSA sex. The 30 - 40 better for longer term relationships. Sucks now to be back in DC and have to deal with the pretty degenerate dating pool here.

Guy here. I always scared of getting married and watching my wife grow old. I thought I'd always need a woman in her 20s or early 30s.
But, as I grow older, those younger women actually looking too young.
I saw a girl in the office kitchen a while back and swore she was in high school. I asked her why she had the day off school, and why spend it with mom/dad at work. She gave me this weird look. Turned out she was a 25 y/o new hire.
I have a mid-40s divorced friend who sticks to dating the 20 y/o women. They look absolutely silly together. FWIW, he's a mid-level, low-six figure manager with not trouble getting those women. He can have them. Should my wife ever leave me, I'm sticking with my age group.

I'm 29 and married to someone a couple years older. I would be open to dating (if I were single) anyone that I had things in common with. I would date someone in their 50's if I felt we had a connection on some level. Yes, he would have to be in shape but he wouldn't have to a be rich. I've never chased guys with money.
