That's exactly what happened. Poster 16:47 explains the new program implemented THIS year. Why not the other nine years when the scho had mostly native DC kids and not gentrifier kids?

SERIOUSLY??? You've got to be kidding. Do you really think that this is race related?!! Ha ha ha! If you must know, a few years ago, the school began tracking toward IB accreditation for its lower grades. They made a lot of great changes that are being implemented in the classroom now with Bethune's PK3 and PK4 classes. It has nothing to do with there being more "snowflakes" in those grades. Hahahaha! Thank you for making me laugh.

No doubt... no doubt... which is why its very important to keep these kind of discussions as calm and focused as possible

Instead of pathetically pulling the race card and making Bethune look pathetic, why don't you tell the truth. It's dishonest to stand behind an out of touch position (the need to concentrate on English) and get pissed when you're called out. If the school needs to concentrate on English for upper grades, why no plans to expand for lower grades? The answer is obvious- current English only teachers would be displaced. Why is this so hard for you?
Because, to put it bluntly, the difference between the SES of the parents in PS3 and PK4 vs. the older grades is huge.
