You can't be serious. Unless you are a native American you better make plans to self-deport.

That comment is tired and has no bearing on our needs today. Too often, in our zeal to be a free and open society, we sacrifice US citizens for the comfort of (sometimes ungrateful) foreigners.

I could go on and on. I'm quite judgy, but know better than to tell people!

Ooh ooh, I am a mom who's always worked full time by choice. Do you think it's not really my choice, or that all women should SAH or WOH PT once they become parents? How totally weird.

I know it's totally your choice, that you could easily afford to stay home with your children and don't. That is why I judge. Women who truly must work to cover basic bills, I feel sorry for.

What are you judging? That my children are neglected or being raised wrong because their other parent is as equally involved? Do you think because I work by choice, I'm materialistic? Do you think only women who want to spend the majority of their time with their children should have them?

Does that create "discord" as well? Surely, you are just here to stir the pot. No one can be this stupid.

What's the benefit to immigration?

Legal immigrants-usually highly skilled/trained. Some make it clear they're only here for the jobs and have a general disdain for Americans. Rather than rely on these workers, why not focus on training those already in the US?

Illegal immigrants-....Don't get me started.

What are your positives for immigration?

Before I answer your question, can you please tell me what tribe do you belong to? Cherokee? Sioux? Navajo?

You think our immigration needs are the same as they were hundreds of years ago?

What exactly were the needs then? What are the needs now?

+1

+1, and the same goes for police and rescue personnel, as well

we don't live in a country where they were forced at gunpoint to take these jobs. they chose them.

For me:

-Adoption (that goes doubly for international adoption)
-Interracial marriage

Are you against those things for yourself, or do you think other people shouldn't do them either?

OP here. I don't think other people should do them (and I don't/won't).

OP let me ask you:

If you fell in love with your DH or spouse and later found out they were from an irracial marriage, would that be a deal breaker for you?
On Adoption, what would you suggest that we do with children that are in orphanges or their birth parents can't take care of them????

Do you have any friends? You seem like a lonely person!

Can I tell you something? When you are an inexperienced cook, even when you follow a recipe religiously, your food often flops.

Not.possible. Set timers, use measuring cups/spoons, etc.

How does that help with a souffle or risotto?

On a personal level, I oppose the idea of marriage for myself.
