It's threads like this that scare me. I've only had 1 period after my pregnancy (baby is almost 11 months) and that was 2 and a half months ago. So, I guess I'm 2 and a half months "late"? My DH had his vasectomy 10 months ago; cut, cauterized, the whole shebang, but never got follow-up testing (even though I hound him about it constantly.) I don't feel pregnant, but I still worry. I didn't feel pregnant with my last one either, only symptom is CM (If you don't know what that is, I won't go into detail as it will probably gross you out.), which was the same 1 symptom from my last pregnancy. I don't want to take a pregnancy test, because I'll fill stupid if it's negative, but I can't help still wondering.

This is really kind of freaking me out. I've read several forums now about the possibility of being pregnant with the "double done" procedures. I had my tubes tied 6yrs ago and my fiance had a v done 5yrs ago. Im 2 weeks late and im never late. Feeling nauseous, dizzy, tired. Hoping just hormones adjusting but it sounds like you never know...

Every time this thread is bumped, a chill goes down my spine.

Nice stories - I'm 2 weeks late husband had v about 6 years ago got gonna take a test but I'm sure I'm just late.

Infidelity. HE cheated and SHE got pregnant. Science is weird.

Thank you for this thread! DH had a vasectomy in 2006 after the birth of our 3rd child. While at work a week ago, I grew dizzy and faint so I popped in to see our office clinician. She ran a few test...blood pressure, blood sugar, etc. and found nothing wrong. She asked when my last period was and I told her I should be starting any day but I didn't have to worry about pregnancy due to hubby's V surgery. She laughed and said oh, you do realize you could still be pregnant. Still no period...haven't taken an AH test yet. A bit nervous of the possible outcome.

Omg what a stories my hubby has vasectomy done 1.5 yr ago now period is late about week and I am so stressed now after reading those stories... I did pregnancy tests twice both negative. Waiting for advice from my doctor. Last few days I slept as crazy during the nights and days and going to toilet very often. Dont know what to think and what to do. Waiting for advice from doc and getting mad. S.B

I am new here. I found this because I am feeling very pregnant, including having colostrum coming out! Hubby had V done less than two years ago. I always have certain symptoms before I miss my period and they are all present. So it is a waiting game here. I talked to him about it and at first he was in complete denial. Then as my symptoms kept coming he said well I am a bit baby crazy so we can handle another, but eventually we will have to stop. lol I am excited but don't want to set myself up. What if I am just having a crazy hormonal thing?

Hi OP, well I got the call today and I'm not pregnant according to the blood test. Still no sign of my period so my doc wants to carry out more tests if I don't have them by next week. It wouldn't have been ideal, but I'm a little disappointed. I guess I kind of convinced myself that it was meant to be. I should be grateful to have the three that I have and get over it.

Whoops just went back and there was someone else on page 4 who was pregnant after a vasectomy as well.

OP here, I THINK I'm the only one in the thread so far who actually was pregnant and didn't just have a scare. My husband couldn't remember but thinks he was just cut and tied, NOT cauterized. PP, be sure to update if you're pregnant- I would love to know if there was another one out there!

My baby is fabulous, she will be 16 weeks on Thursday. Already rolling back to front and being wild. Our family is doing great.
