Can't imagine ironing my husband's clothes.

We have many friends who are exactly the same. Very organized and tidy houses without laundry baskets full of clothes just lying around. Many of the posters either fold their laundry or pay to have it folded, so I'm not in the minority by any means. Sorry if my tone offended you, but I was initially responding to the poster who's tone indicated that it's a choice of laundry or time with her kids - which just isn't true for MANY people.
Waah!!!!! It's all 15:30's fault! She should have known better than to respond to my post at 15:17 about "how completely lazy." And so what if I totally overreacted with my over-the-top post at 17:44 -- and what was the incendiary language I used there? Oh right, something about animals and laziness and being a mess in every aspect of life. And yeah, I did sort of apply these sweeping generalizations to EVERYBODY who doesn't fold their laundry. But 15:30 asked for it, she had it coming!
And I STILL can't imagine that not everybody faces the exact same set of choices that I face. And now in my post above you made me bend just a little (I had to say it "isn't true for MANY people") and it's making me start to twitch....
And when I go into someone's house and they have "laundry baskets full of clothes just lying around," I immediately scratch them off my social list and unfriend them on Facebook.
Have you been drinking?
this describes me to. I don't particularly enjoy folding and most of it land in a pike and gets worn. Eventually I'll fold everything and I do like it when it's done, I just don't enjoy doing it.Anonymous wrote:We do not fold often. I throw it all in a big pile on our chair. Most things are not that wrinkly when they get worn. I will hang up a few shirts that do get super wrinkly. I probably fold once a month.
